That Romanian jazz comp seems awesome. I had already picked up 2 tracks from it over at http://www.chongastyle.com/?p=238 and am now even more confident.

The series ‘Sounds from a Bygone Age’ on Asphalt Tango is incredible. Vintage tzigane music from the 60s & 70s, five volumes so far and once you’ve heard Romica Puceanu you’ll want them all. There’s a Romanian sampler on Trikont which I haven’t heard yet but like all their other comps that one should be great as well.

I LOVED that one, and its probably the first time i heard that good romanian jazz..
Bought that ”Romanian Jazz Compilation” immediately. Sonar always bring quality but i slept on this one.
